Aultman Hospital Therapy Services Department offers an acute care inpatient setting. Aultman Hospital is a Level 2 Trauma Center and received the American Heart Association’s Get With The Guidelines® - Stroke Gold Plus quality achievement award for care of patients with Stroke. This inpatient acute care setting serves clients with a wide range of diagnoses such as cardiac, orthopedic, neurologic, neurosurgical, general medical and surgical patients. Physical therapy specializes in vestibular assessment and treatment in this setting. The acute care therapy department also has an Intensive Care Unit team specializing in Early Mobility. Acute care is a fast-paced setting that provides an opportunity to see a wide variety of diagnoses while working with a large interdisciplinary team.
