Mount Carmel College of Nursing - Student User Guide

This page will provide you with all of the steps that your school requires. If you have questions about completing these steps in ACEMAPP, you may Contact ACEMAPP Support.

1: Verify Email Address

Once MCCN has created your account, you will receive an email to your @MCHS.com email account to verify the email address associated with your ACEMAPP account. You must verify your email before logging in.

2: Log in to your ACEMAPP account

Log into Microsoft365 My Apps , and select the "ACEMAPP" Icon. Enter "Trinity-Health" when asked to enter an organization ID. ACEMAPP's homepage should populate once you click "continue."

3. Complete requirements through your Assure Member Home Page.

Navigate to your Assure Member Home page and complete all health requirements. Once you upload your documents, they will show as pending until they are reviewed. You will receive an email if the documents are denied, and you will be asked to reupload.

Please note, once you are assigned to a clinical rotation, you will be required to review your Student Home Page and upload any additional requirements from your clinical facility.

4. Submit rotation application

To request a placement for your school, locate the appropriate application. See this page for more instructions on Submitting your Application. While completing your rotation application, you can select your clinical site and preceptor of preference. If they are not listed, there is a placeholder for you:

  • Preceptor: 'Preceptor Not Listed - Provide Details Below.'
  • Clinical Site: 'New Entity (enter Details Below).'

Once your application is approved, you are NOT cleared to attend your rotation, but you will be assigned to a rotation. Your school will review the rotation request and move it to approved.

5. Complete case logs

Clinical encounters should be completed daily. You must indicate a preceptor on your case logs for your hours to be accurate. You will submit case logs specific to your precepted rotation id number. If you cannot complete your case and/or time logs, please reach out to your school so they may assign you to a rotation.

6. Complete time logs

Submit your time logs using the preceptor, encounter date, and precepted rotation ID number. These fields need to match what you entered for case logs. If your preceptor is not listed or you do not indicate which case logs to attach, your total hours will not be correct. Ensure all correlating case logs are listed before submitting your time log. Your faculty or preceptor will approve your time logs.
