COVID-19 Policies & Considerations

ACEMAPP Student Placements

  • The number of students allowed in a clinical group for the Winter/Spring semester has been reduced
  • Schools may rotate multiple students in & out of a single ACEMAPP rotation in order to increase the number of students receiving clinical hours
  • We will allow pre/post conferences to take place on site. Up to faculty if they prefer offsite or virtual

COVID-19 Requirements & Responsibilities

  • Students are screened for COVID-19 upon entry
  • We do not provide student COVID testing and defer COVID related policies to the school for management of students with symptoms
  • We ask students to provide attestation of being on campus with NO COVID symptoms
  • We work with the schools on their current practices and modifying within ours
  • Students are required to self-monitor and not to attend clinical if they are symptomatic
  • The COVID-19 vaccination will be tracked in ACEMAPP

PPE Considerations & Scrub Policy

  • Students must supply some of their own PPE, including masks
  • Schools are encouraged to provide face shields and masks. We will provide gowns/gloves
  • Students are to wear their school uniform
