Welcome Advanced Practice Provider Student
Thank you for choosing university Hospitals as one of your clinical rotations. Please read the directions below and ensure you are completing all the required steps. We want you to have a wonderful experience but any delay in completion will prevent you from starting your rotation.

Requirements for Clinical Rotations

• The process is mandatory for all employees and external students—no exceptions.
• A preceptor and required EMR access must be confirmed before starting the process.
• Both preceptors and students must have profiles in ACEMAPP.
• All students must complete all required steps to begin their rotations—no exceptions.

FAQs
Q: If I have a rotation at University Hospitals in the fall and pay $50 in ACEMAPP, will I need to pay again for another rotation that same year?
A: No, your ACEMAPP subscription is valid for one year. You can use it to onboard at any ACEMAPP partner clinical site within that year.
Q: If I will be working with two preceptors for the same experience, should I complete one application or two?
A: You must complete an application for each preceptor, even for the same experience. In this case, you should submit two separate applications with the approximate number of hours each preceptor will be training you.

    Register for Rotation – complete this process for each rotation

APPLICATION DEADLINES:

Clinical Rotation Application Period
Summer (May 1- August 31) January 1- April 1
Fall (August 31- December 31) March 1 - July 31
Winter/Spring (Jan 1-April 30) August 1 - December 1
  • Register: ACEMAPP Registration
  • Rotation Application select: Available Applications
    • Search for 'University Hospitals' to narrow down the available rotation applications.
    • Choose the application for the correct semester you are applying for and select the blue “info” button & “apply”
    • Connecting Entity – “University Hospitals – APPs”
    • Partner Entity – students school
    • Complete all information and select “Save & Continue”
    • Continue on each page and “Save and Confirm”
    • When completed, be sure to “APPLY”

Student ePortfolio

  • Upload your resume into your ACEMAPP ePortfolio
    • Select your name (upper right-hand corner of your ACEMAPP page)
    • Select ePortfolio
    • Select 'Edit Portfolio' (upper left)
      • Select 'Browse' and upload your resume
      • 'Save' You will receive an email once your application(s) have been reviewed by the University Hospitals Team. If you have any questions regarding completing your application, please Contact the ACEMAPP Support Team at 844-223-4292.
