The Stanley Shalom Zielony Institute for Nursing Excellence oversees the practice and education of nearly 35,000 nurse caregivers in the Cleveland Clinic health system. Our hospitals and surgical nurses provide care for patients in 6,496 hospital beds and 240+ operating rooms throughout the Cleveland Clinic enterprise. Our locations include family health centers, 14 regional hospitals in Ohio, 5 regional hospitals in Florida, a location in Nevada, and 3 international locations – Abu Dhabi, Canada and London. Cleveland Clinic’s dynamic and technologically advanced environment allows nurses to learn, grow and remain professionally challenged as they shape their nursing careers.

Clinical and Practicum Nursing Students
Interested in a clinical or practicum nursing rotation? At Cleveland Clinic, we help over 4,000 undergraduate nursing students each year develop the skills they need to pursue a nursing career. As a nursing student or new graduate at Cleveland Clinic, you’ll gain the confidence to grow in your profession and explore the many opportunities that will have you practicing at the top of your nursing licensure.
Undergraduate Students who need a preceptor should contact their school’s clinical coordinator. Schools interested in submitting a request can email undergraduatenursing@ccf.org for more information.
Graduate Students interested in completing a rotation need to complete the Graduate Nursing Preceptor Placement Application.
