COVID-19 Policies & Considerations
COVID-19 Vaccination Policy
DMC has made an update to their COVID-19 vaccination policy. Students attending rotations on or after January 1, 2022, may now submit religious or medical exemptions following your school's process. Schools will be responsible for reviewing all exemption forms.
As of January 1, 2022, all students must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or have an approved exemption from their school. An incomplete vaccination requirement will affect your compliance in ACEMAPP as of 12/15/21 if an exemption has not been submitted and approved.

- Students will not be restricted from COVID-19 units
COVID-19 Requirements & Responsibilities
- Students are screened for COVID-19 upon entry. Students are asked upon entry about symptoms, and temperature is checked. They are also asked to fill out a questionnaire weekly when we allow students. We have a COVID hotline. If they have been exposed, we ask they call the hotline so we can track.
- Faculty are treated just like students. They are screened upon entry, and yes, we expect them to monitor their students and report any illness while on campus.
PPE Considerations & Scrub Policy
- DMC will supply students with PPE. Students must wear hospital-supplied masks.
- We are not allowing lab coats at this time, just scrubs.
