Process for Non-Nursing Programs at DMC

Athletic Training at Rehabilitation Institute of Michigan
Process Starts for Fall of 2022 Placements:

1. Student will submit a rotation application that will ask about availability, the type of experience they would like, and the location of preference. This will include the school for visibility.

2. DMC will approve the application if they can place the student, and that will create a rotation. Then students may complete requirements.

Pharmacy
Process will begin May of 2022:

1. School will reach out via email to their DMC contact. Once a placement is confirmed (DMC coordinator will confirm via email), the school will create the request in ACEMAPP AND assign the student

2. DMC will approve the placement in ACEMAPP.

Radiology
Process Starts for Fall of 2022 Placements"
Can not have more than 4 students at a time (if total of 8 students, then they would have 4 one month and 4 next month)

1. School submits rotation request in ACEMAPP (typically the same blocks of time as the previous year):

2. DMC will approve the rotation if they can accommodate the placement. Once approved, School assigns the student so the student can complete requirements

Recreation Therapy
Process starts for new placements after Fall of 2022 (August):

Process: After the student has an interview with DMC, DMC will reach out to the school and the school will add the rotation request into ACEMAPP.

2. DMC will approve the rotation if they can accommodate the placement. Once approved, the school assigns the student so they may complete all requirements

Speech Therapy
Process Starts for Fall of 2022 Placements:

1. School will submit rotation request in ACEMAPP AND assign the student BASED ON A SUBMISSION SCHEDULE

2. DMC will reach out to the student assigned to the rotation and schedule an interview. Once interview happens and DMC can take the student, DMC will approve the rotation.
