Welcome Nursing Students and Clinical Faculty:
Grady Health System (Grady) uses ACEMAPP to manage clinical education, rotation requests. ACEMAPP is a collaborative platform for healthcare education, recruitment, and professional development. Grady provides placement for nursing students from accredited Nursing Colleges and Schools of Nursing in Georgia, and across the country that hold a current clinical affiliation agreement with us. Both students and clinical faculty, who are currently employed by Grady and interested in Employee ACEMAPP Clearance, must complete a Rotation Application and include a school email address for consideration. Grady is not currently using preceptor matching in ACEMAPP but may consider in the future.
STUDENTS MAY NOT BEGIN CLINICAL ROTATIONS UNTIL FULLY CREDENTIALED AND HAVE THEIR BADGES! Student badges must be worn during the clinical period. Failure to comply with the above requirements will result in the student's rotation cancellation and may constitute the cancellation of an Academic Partnership.
To be exempt as an employee at Grady from some of the requirements in ACEMAPP, please fill out the appropriate application. To do so, click the Application tab at the top of your homepage, select "View Available Applications", and find the appropriate one. Reminder: Applications received with no existing rotation request may result in requirements having to be completed .
If you are a clinical instructor, complete the 'Grady Health System - CLINICAL FACULTY Employee ACEMAPP Clearance Application.
If you are a student, complete the 'Grady Health System - STUDENT Employee ACEMAPP Clearance Application.
If you have completed this process previously, you can log into your ACEMAPP account and submit another application.
Nursing, NP, DNP, and MSN Only! Unless your program of interest can be rolled up under one listed, Grady may be unable to accommodate your clinical program needs.
Graduate students must identify your own preceptor before a rotation will be considered for approval.
IMPORTANT Message for students pursuing NP or DNP programs: You must include a valid NPI in your ACEMAPP profile!
The National Provider Identifier (NPI) is a Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) Administrative Simplification Standard. The NPI is a unique identification number for covered health care providers. Covered health care providers and all health plans and health care clearinghouses must use the NPIs in the administrative and financial transactions adopted under HIPAA. ALL ROTATION REQUESTS MUST BE SUBMITTED BY THE SCHOOL!
Note: Your school must have an active, contractual agreement or Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on file with Grady! If your school is not listed, we may not able to consider you for a placement at the Grady Health System currently. Click the following link to see our current affiliates' list:
