Clinical Site Rotation & Compliance Guidelines

We’re excited to work with your school for student clinical rotations. Please review the following guidelines to ensure a smooth and compliant experience for all parties involved. These guidelines are designed to clarify our process and streamline collaboration between our healthcare system and academic institutions.

Rotation Management

Request Approval Process:

  • Rotation requests are managed and approved by:Lynn Kiker, MSN, RN @ LKiker@tanner.org

Compliance Monitoring

Responsibility:

  • Compliance monitoring is handled by: For Nursing: Amy Lackey, BSN, RN @ alackey@tanner.org

Compliance Requirements:

  • All assigned members must be compliant with our requirements at least 14 days prior to the rotation start date.

Non-Compliance Process

If members are not compliant by the required deadline:

  • The rotation will either be denied or delayed.

  • Non-compliant members will **NOT be permitted to begin clinical rotations. If the non-compliant member is part of a clinical group rotation, the non-compliant member is the only person that will be denied or delayed**

In-Progress Rotation Policies

  • Non-compliant members on approved rotations:
Students are not allowed to start their clinical rotations until all compliance requirements are met.

  • Approved rotations with missing student assignments:
School coordinators will be asked to withdraw the rotation.
