Residency Program Highlights

Nurse Residency Program (PTAP)

Highland Hospital is home to Rochester’s FIRST accredited ANCC Practice Transition Nurse Residency Program (PTAP). This program provides a seamless transition from student to professional nurse, helping new grads build confidence, competence, and clinical expertise.

  • A one-year structured transition experience based on mentorship, hands-on learning, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
  • Unit-based clinical training, advanced case reviews, and monthly educational sessions.

Emergency Department Nurse Residency

Our ED Residency Program provides a progressive transition into emergency nursing.
