Clinical Placement content
The Clinical Placement Office coordinates all student nurse placements within the inpatient and ambulatory care areas. We determine all undergraduate student placement locations, while graduate student placements are determined by the individual University of Michigan Health providers. The Clinical Placement Office verifies that all compliance requirements are met prior to placement accommodation. We are certain that students and faculty will find their experience at the University of Michigan Health both enriching and rewarding as students progress toward completion of a BSN or advanced practice nursing degree.
Unfortunately, we do not clinically place visiting observer or shadow experience requests. Please contact the unit/area for further information. You and the unit/area must follow all policy guidelines.
