NOTE: The "Edit" button is only available if your organization has the Approval function turned on for the Case Log type.

Step 2:

To approve the current log, scroll down and click "Approve" to open the drop-down selection. Select the appropriate choice:

  • Approve: Approves the current Case Log.
  • Needs Info: Marks the Case Log as incomplete and returns it to the author for adjustment.
  • Deny: Denies and closes the Case Log.

NOTE: When marking a Case Log as "Needs Info" or "Denied," please enter a note in the Entity Notes area before clicking "Save." This note is saved with the Case Log so the original author may see it.

Step 3:

Enter any notes you wish to convey to the author or anyone viewing the log. When finished, click "Save" to save your changes and exit or "Save & Next" to save your changes and go to the following Case Log awaiting approval.

Optional: You can allow other Faculty/Preceptors access to Case Logs by adding them to the Sub Member section of the rotation. Adding sub-members does not add them to the rotation; using the sub-member area only grants access to Case and/or Time Logs.
