Member Types:

Assignment Data allows you to associate additional identifying information with students. This can be particularly helpful when assigning members to rotations, as it allows you to quickly filter and locate individuals using previously uploaded data.

Adding Assignment Data to Members

You can upload Assignment Data in bulk for your students using a CSV file. Follow the steps below:

Step 1: Access Members List

From your School Home Page, click the "Members" tab in the nav bar. From the drop-down, select "Member" in the Affiliation column. You can also select by Rotation or Course.

Step 2: Open Assignment Data Management

To add Assignment Data to existing students, click "Manage" and select "Assignment Data" from the drop-down.

Step 3: Download the Template

On this page, select the "Download Template" button if you do not have a current CSV file.

Step 4: Upload Your CSV File

Save the CSV file and go back to the Assignment Data page in ACEMAPP, click on "Choose File" and then click "Upload your CSV".

Review your results in the Approval Table.

Step 5: Submit Your Data

In the Approval Table, review your results and click "Submit Rows" to finalize the data.

Assigning Students to Rotations Using Assignment Data

Now that Assignment Data has been uploaded, you can use it to assign students to rotations efficiently.

Step 1: Access the Rotations Page

From your School Home Page, click the "Rotations" tab in your navigation bar.

Step 2: Edit the Rotation

Navigate to the Rotation you need to assign members to and click on the "Edit" (pencil icon) button under the Actions column.

Step 3: Select Member Type

Click on the "Member Type" (Ex. Students, Clinical Faculty, etc.) tab to navigate to that list.

Step 4: Filter Using Assignment Data

In the Available Students/Clinical Faculty/Etc. table, you can use the Assignment Data to sort for the members by the Assignment Data you previously entered for easy selection.

You can also use the Search box to sort by Assignment Data.

Step 5: Save Your Changes

Once all members have been selected, click "Save Changes" to assign the members to the rotation.

Affiliations define Member Types and often include Graduation or End Dates.
