ACEMAPP Student Process Overview: From Account Setup to Rotation Participation

This guide outlines the process students follow in ACEMAPP when their school initiates and manages the clinical rotation request. It walks through verifying your account, completing your profile and compliance requirements, and preparing for your rotation. This is a high-level overview of the student process in ACEMAPP. Please refer to the Student User Guide.

NOTE: This process does not apply if your clinical site requires you to submit an application. In those cases, follow the separate application instructions provided by the site.

Stage Student Action Clarification / Notes
1. Account Activation Verify your email and set a password via the ACEMAPP verification and set password emails. Use the “Resend Verification” or “Forgot Password” links if needed.
Log in to ACEMAPP for the first time. You must accept the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy before continuing.
2. Profile & Payment Complete your student profile. Your profile is part of your compliance and must be 100% complete.
Pay the $50 membership fee (if required by your school). Payment unlocks access to your Student Home page.
3. Review Assigned Requirements Navigate to your Student Home page. Use the “Navigation” menu by clicking your name in the top right corner.
Review and complete all assigned requirements, learning materials, and custom fields. Upload documents, enter dates, or complete SCORM modules as required. Check for vendor integrations (like Advantage Students or Complio) if used.
4. Monitor Compliance Use the Affiliations section to view compliance status for your school and each rotation. A green check = compliant. A red X = incomplete. Click the red X for details.
Ensure all pending items are submitted and approved by your school or clinical site. Items remain incomplete until reviewed and approved.
5. Rotation Assignment Once assigned to a rotation, you’ll receive a notification. You cannot begin until all requirements are complete and approved.
Complete any additional onboarding items required by the clinical site. These may include site-specific documents, training, or orientation steps.
6. Reminders & Support Check for weekly email reminders about incomplete items. Reminders continue until compliance is achieved.
