Article: Rotation Announcements

The Rotation Announcement system allows announcements to be released and sent to both clinical and school coordinators when a rotation matches specific, pre-defined criteria.

NOTE: This is an optional feature, please contact an ACEMAPP Team Member to have this feature turned on for your organization.

To Create Announcement

Step 1:

From your home screen, click "Rotations".

Step 2:

On the Rotation page, click "Manage" and then select "Announcements" from the drop down.

Step 3:

Click "Create New Announcement".

Step 4:

Fill in all fields:

• Title
• Start Date
• End Date Set the Status to Pending. Enter the announcement in the "Body Area".

Step 5:

Click "Save".

Announcement Configuration

Step 1:

Once you click save the screen will refresh, showing the navigation panel. In the panel, click "Configuration".

Step 2:

Set your configuration.

NOTE: You can have multiple configurations for one announcement.

• Select the Member Type(s), this is who will get notification of the message as well as view it. Students/Faculty member types do not have access to Rotation Announcements.
• Select the Program(s).
• Availability, change this to Available. Leaving this selection at Not Available inactivates the announcement.
• Select the rotation's Experience Type(s), Cohort, Precepted, Requested, etc.
• When finished, click "Set Your Definitions." NOTE: If the Announcement status is still Pending, The Announcement List will still show "No Records Found!" Change the status to "Active" to review the list.
