An affiliation is the connection between a member and an entity, such as a school or clinical site. Typically, students and faculty are affiliated with a school, while preceptors, observers, and contractors are affiliated with a clinical site. This guide will walk you through the process of approving an affiliation request so you can be Active with an entity and begin completing your requirements.
When an entity (school or clinical site) sends you an affiliation request, you will receive an email notification from ACEMAPP containing the subject line, "ACEMAPP - You Have an Affiliation Request."
After receiving the email notification, you must log in to ACEMAPP to approve your affiliation request. Once logged in, click the drop-down menu with your name in the top right corner of the page and select "Affiliations."
In your Affiliations table, click the "Pending Member Approval" tab to review the affiliation requests pending your review.
To approve the affiliation request, click the "Edit" pencil icon under Actions.
NOTE: Before clicking the "Edit" pencil icon, double-check the date listed under the Graduation Date column to ensure it is correct. If the date is inaccurate, please contact your entity's coordinator for assistance.
Click the Status drop-down menu near the bottom and select the "Active" option.
After you update the status, click the green "Save" button to approve your request. Once done, you will be actively affiliated with your entity.
To navigate to your homepage, click the ACEMAPP logo on the top left of your page.
