Students rotating at Wellstar will receive access to the Wellstar network (OneID) and the electronic medical record system (Epic). Once ALL the requirements are complete in ACEMAPP and the rotation is approved, the request for student access will be submitted to IT. Wellstar can NOT grant OneID/Epic access until the student has a current, approved rotation in ACEMAPP and all requirements, including training, have been completed. Students can access the Wellstar network a few days in advance to claim their OneID account or reset their password. Students can ONLY access Epic on the start date of the rotation
IT will first grant you access to the Wellstar network; you will receive an email from OneID@wellstar.org with steps to claim your account. The email will be sent to your email address listed in ACEMAPP. It will contain your username and steps to create a password. ALL steps must be completed. Please note the email to claim your account is only sent once:
If you have previously rotated at Wellstar and are unable to login into the network, you will need to reset your password. If you are a Wellstar Employee, you will receive an “S number” which is different from your employee ID. When rotating in a student capacity, do NOT use your employee ID to log in to the Wellstar network and Epic.
The username and password you register with OneID are the same as those you will use to log in to Epic. You will not be able to access Epic until the start date of your rotation, as listed in ACEMAPP. Please contact the Wellstar IT Service Desk (470-956-6000) if you have access issues.
Students and faculty members rotating during flu season, from October 1st to March 31st, must upload proof of influenza vaccine in ACEMAPP. Medical exemptions are accepted with appropriate documentation: Flu Medical Exemption Form
COVID-19 Vaccine is recommended but not required. The option to upload proof of the COVID-19 vaccine is still available in ACEMAPP. If you test positive for COVID, please notify your school and follow Wellstar’s guidelines of returning to clinical as early as 6 days from symptom onset, or 6 days from the test date for asymptomatic students.
Wellstar Health System is pleased to welcome Wellstar MCG Health, formally known as Augusta University Health System, to the Wellstar family. Through this partnership, we are committed to investing in cutting-edge medical facilities and infrastructure, strengthening collaborations with rural hospitals, and providing greater access to digital health services and top-notch clinical care, such as the exceptional pediatric care offered by Wellstar and Children’s Hospital of Georgia. Most importantly, we’re focused on addressing the unique needs of each person and community we serve as effectively and compassionately as possible. As a result, any student participating in clinical rotations at a Wellstar affiliated location must comply with the same credentialing requirements as all other Wellstar sites.
WMCG and affiliated practices are now available as a site in ACEMAPP. If your institution is already an ACEMAPP member, please request partnership with Wellstar - MCG Health Augusta & Children's Hospital of Georgia and Wellstar - MCG Health Ambulatory. If your institution is not currently an ACEMAPP member, your school is required to be an ACEMAPP member. Please contact the ACEMAPP Help Desk at 844-223-4292 or support@acemapp.org.
