View Your Assigned Rotation
Member Types:

This guide helps members, such as students and faculty, view the details of their assigned rotations in ACEMAPP. Rotation details may include the clinical site, program, start and end dates, days of the week, and contact information for assigned preceptors or faculty. Clicking the site name will open the site's entity profile, where you can view additional information the site has shared in ACEMAPP.

If you need more information about your rotation assignment, please contact your school coordinator.

Step 1:

From your homepage, click the "Rotations" tab at the top, or click the blue "+" (plus sign icon) at the top right of the Rotations box. If you don’t see any rotations listed in your ACEMAPP account, please reach out to your school coordinator to confirm your rotation assignment.

Step 2:

Your Rotations table displays all your rotation assignments. At the top of the table, you can sort by the following:

  • Rotation experience type (first row of tabs)
  • Rotation status (second row of tabs)

NOTE: The rotation experience type will vary based on your school/clinical site. Here is more information below:

  • Cohort Rotation: This rotation accommodates students learning under a clinical instructor or faculty member.
  • Precepted Rotation: A rotation where students will work with a preceptor.
  • Personal Schedule: Students enter their schedules for their rotation.
  • Course Assignment: Course rotations are used to assign members to courses for features like Case Logs, Time Logs, and Faculty Student Document Management.
  • Staff Lead: A rotation where students will work with staff.
  • Requested Rotation: If enabled by your school or clinical site, this option allows you to submit an application in ACEMAPP for a rotation.

Step 3:

In the rotations table, click the "View" (eye) icon to access the contact information for the faculty or preceptors assigned to the rotation. You can also click the entity name to view more details about the entity.

Step 4:

You can also customize your rotation table to display specific information. To do so, click the "Config" button located at the very top left of the table.

Step 5:

In your rotation table configuration, you can checkmark the Available Fields on the left to have them selected as your Chosen Fields on the right.

Once done, scroll to the very bottom and click the green "Save Changes" button on the left.

Step 6:

You can view a quick summary of a rotation details by clicking the rotation number in the "Affiliations" tile on the left side of your homepage.

An Entity is a School, Clinical Site, High School, Company, etc.

The Profile allows you to enter and edit personal information in ACEMAPP.

An Affiliation is a connection between a Member and an Entity.

Affiliations define Member Types and often include Graduation or End Dates.
