Broadcast Messaging
Member Types:

Broadcast messaging allows school and clinical users to communicate with members through ACEMAPP directly. After sending a broadcast message, users can view if and when recipients have opened the message.

Create and Send Broadcast Messages

Step 1:

From your home page, click the "Broadcast" tab. You may need to click the "More" dropdown on the right to access this tab.

Click the "+Start New Message" button.

Send Broadcast Messages from the Members Tables

Step 1:

From your home page, click the "Members" dropdown, then click the "Member Type" (i.e., students, clinical faculty, etc.) you want to message.

NOTE: To send messages to members assigned to a specific rotation, access the Students/Faculty (by Rotation) table, and filter by Rotation ID in the search bar.

Step 2:

On the left, click the checkbox next to the name(s) of the individual(s) you would like to message.

Step 3:

After you have made your selections, click "Select," then "Email Selected."

Step 4:

Fill out the 'Subject', 'Reply To', and any other required fields before clicking "Save".

Additionally, you can schedule your message to be sent at a specific time by setting the Schedule Send Time.

Step 5:

You can add an attachment(s) to your email. Next, click "Save & Continue" or "Save & Add More."

Step 6:

The system will run a spam check. Click "Continue."

NOTE: The lower the spam score, the better. A score of zero is ideal. If the spam score is too high, consider revising your message content (e.g., reduce excessive links, avoid trigger words) to lower it."

Step 7:

Check your list of recipients. Remove anyone from the email list by selecting the checkbox next to their name and then clicking "Remove Selected." To add recipients, utilize the Bulk Options on the right to add members by their member type. Alternatively, navigate to your member management tables, select the individual's box, and click "Email Selected" to include the member(s) in this list. Then, click "Continue."

Step 8:

Click "Send Broadcast Message" button when you are ready to send the email.

NOTE: After your message has been sent, you can go to your Broadcast Messaging area to review who has opened the message and when they opened it.

Review Sent Broadcast Messages

Once a broadcast message has been sent, you can review if and when recipients have viewed the message.

Step 1:

From your home page, click the "Broadcast" tab. You may need to click the "More" dropdown on the right to access this tab.

Step 2:

The table displays past broadcast messages and whether they have been viewed. To view more details of a message, click the "View" (eye) icon next to the specific message.

You may filter the table by the sender or the Message subject line.

Step 3:

Here you can review the recipients of a given message and when they read it. Clicking the 'View' button opens a detailed list of recipients and their respective open times. Click "Reuse This Message" if you would like to send a similar broadcast message out again.
