Welcome back ADN Nursing students who will continue with your nursing courses at GTC-ADN program.
I am Jomi Praveen, the clinical instructor for the ADN program, and I am here to reinforce some clinical guidelines. We are here for your success, and if you have any questions throughout the credentialing process, please feel free to ask.
Note: remember that even while you are on vacation, break, school closure, or off in the summer (no summer off for Bridge 1500/1530 students), you will still need to upload documents to ACEMAPP/ASSURE.
Please go to the tab " All Clinical Courses," choose the course you will start the next semester, and start uploading your documents to ACEMAPP/ASSURE before the deadline.
Documents need to be uploaded and cleared before the deadline. Please do not upload documents on the last day of the deadline. You will need more time to get feedback, correct, and fully clear.
Secondly, the clinical component is a vital part of the nursing curriculum. Each student must upload the required clinical Documentation before any deadline. Suppose the Credentialing Staff cannot clear you by the required clinical deadline due to your failure to comply with the submission/upload of the correct documents to the proper location. In that case, you will not successfully complete the clinical portion of the course. This delay in your action or no action will result in your withdrawing from the program.
Important Policy to Review: Please review the policy in your Student handbook 2025-2026-pgs 37-38. "Credentialing Student and Missing Deadline"
To stay compliant every semester, ensure your clinical documents are accurate and uploaded before deadlines. Always check with the ACEMAPP/ASSURE team to ensure all documents are clear and you are ready for the current and next semester.
You will start to upload documents ASAP (the deadline to have you cleared is posted under your clinical courses tab), and then once assigned to a specific rotation, you will quickly complete standard, tiered, and facility-specific requirements and any additional uploads. Please review the "All Clinical Requirement" tab on the ACEMAPP GTC page and choose your specific facility to review all the clinical documents you must upload or complete. Also, please review the "Clinical Deadline" tab.
All documents must be uploaded to ACEMAPP/ASSURE. All Documentation must be legible and in PDF format. Your first and last name must be the same on all documents. If not, please submit (to the clinical instructor) additional Documentation, such as a copy of your marriage license or birth certificate.
Much Success with uploading your documents!
