Background Check-Urine Drug Screen

Infomart-Advantage Student Website How to complete my background check (BC) and urine drug screen?

Do not link Advantage student account to ACEMAPP until you have been instructed to do so.

Step to Follow:

1. Students will need to click on this link to Register for an account with Advantage Students: Click and Register with Advantage Students
2. Register (using GTC student email) with the Infomart-Advantage Student Website. Please select the affiliated college: Gwinnett Technical College.
3. Fees for students have already been collected via tuition
4. Select the pre-selected GTC Student package or just hit continue [11 Panel & Background check]
5. Students will be auto-added to the GTC section and will need to wait for approval from the GTC.
6. GTC will approve the student
7. Upon GTC approval, Advantage/InfoMart will email the student: 1. To process BC, send a link in the same email for the student. 2. Schedule drug screen [drug screen places are walk-ins, and places will be listed; you do not have to schedule]
8. Background check will take 4-5days to process [International>7days] and drug screen around 3-4 days
9. After the BC and urine drug screen have been processed, the Advantage student will email the student whose reports have been completed [based on student-preferred contact] and notify the student to share information with the facility.
10. Note: Please only share/link your background check and urine drug screen with any facility once you receive a notification or email from the GTC clinical instructor to do so. This can cause significant confusion if not followed.
11. Note: After your clinical instructor gives permission to share/link, please go to ACEMAPP and link your Advantage account.
12. How do I link when given permission? Log in to ACEMAPP, click on the vendor button on the Homepage, and click the GREEN bottom and “LINK.” See Thumbs up!
