Must be completed through Advantage Students
Students are required to undergo drug testing prior to admission and once yearly and these requirements are an additional cost to the student. A positive drug screen will result in the student’s dismissal from the College of Nursing. You are now required to go through our web based medical clearance for drug screening, Advantage Student. Drug Screen will include:
- Amphetamines
- Barbiturates
- Oxycodone
- Benzodiazepine
- Cocaine
- Ecstasy
- Methamphetamine
- Methadone
- Opiates
- Phencyclidine
- Marijuana
- Propoxyphene
Your drug screen will be performed through an Advantage Student approved clinic only. Advantage Student has a mapping system that can show you the nearest facility from your location to have your drug screen performed. The lab will submit the results to Advantage Student. DRUG SCREENS PERFORMED THROUGH A COMPANY OTHER THAN those approved WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
NOTE:
- Drug screen and background check is due yearly and cannot expire mid semester.
- Negative Dilute drug screen is not accepted.
